We provide professional skills and knowledge for students and families as they navigate through the increasingly complicated world of college admissions. UECC approaches students as individuals with unique qualities, skills, passions and personalities. We provide tailored one on one services to meet the individual needs of students with the goal of creating an environment that promotes self-discovery and builds confidence in students as they pursue their college dreams.
Unbounded Edge is committed to empowering students and families to learn about educational options that are good matches and to helping guide them successfully through the application process. The primary goal of our service is to help families identify programs where students will not only find an intellectual fit, but where they can also flourish and grow personally.
Our service will provide honest, objective and informed advice and we adhere to the Principles of Good Practice of both the National Association of College Admissions Counselors (NACAC) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). In addition, UECC remains up-to-date on current issues and trends in education by attending continuing education trainings, summer institutes, and by visiting college campuses frequently.
Founder, Michelle Dixon loves working with high school students and is excited to support their personal growth on many levels. She provides advice about strengthening grades, identifying possible leadership and community service opportunities for students, and encourages students to take creative risks to achieve their potential in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in their personal lives. Colleges are excited by students who have explored their interests, stretched their minds, and actively engaged in their communities.
UECC is committed to advising students and families in a sensitive and honest manner with a personalized and custom approach to 
college counseling. UECC’s approach to college advising is developed in accordance with a client’s needs and is never the same for every student. We support our clients so that they benefit from not only favorable college admission results, but also an application process that is relaxed and well-managed.
UECC will guide a client from the first days of ninth grade through graduation and provide families with college counseling support at every stage of a student’s high school career. We advise a wide range of students with diverse academic profiles, geographic backgrounds, extracurricular and athletic interests, and college aspirations. Our college advising work is not driven by college rankings devised by media sources, college guidebooks, etc. UECC offers a personalized approach to college counseling that exclusively focuses on the needs and objectives of students and their families. College lists are customized to each student and are never repeated.

UECC works with families in a manner that best meets their needs. When comprehensive support is required, we provide full service comprehensive packages that guide students through the process. Unbounded Edge Founder, Michelle Dixon will take initiative in scheduling appointments, providing resources to clients, such as information about summer programs for students or reminders regarding standardized test registration, and will help keep families on schedule so that an important deadline is never missed!
Meet the Founder
Michelle Dixon, is a National Board Certified School Counselor and the Founder of Unbounded Edge College Consulting. She has spent 19 years as a high school counselor and received a national award from the American School Counselors Association, as spearheading one of the top school counseling programs in the nation.
Michelle is an accomplished college advisor for high school students, who has worked with thousands of students to help them navigate the college admissions process. At Unbounded Edge, Michelle can be both a counselor and educator. She works closely with students to help them to see their potential and understand the colleges that are the “best fit” academically, financially, and socially. Additionally, Michelle has relationships with college athletic recruiters and the NCAA Clearinghouse for assisting student-athletes. She has also served as AP Testing Coordinator working closely with the College Board.
Michelle is an Associate Member of the IECA, the American School Counselors Association, and the Palmetto State School Counselors Association.
